How does the Woodpecker Q3 Air purifier work? 

STAGE 1 – PRE-FILTER SCREEN 

Air flows from the bottom and into the Pre-Filter Screen to collect hair, pet dander, etc. 

STAGE 2 – EMITTER WIRES 

The Emitter Wires create an electro field that zaps dangerous particles that would be traveling into our lungs. 

STAGE 3 – IONIC FIELD 

Charged particles are destroyed. Kills bacteria and germs. Third party lab tested and confirmed to kill 99.87% of influenza virus in one hour. 

STAGE 4 – COLLECTING PLATES 

Charged particles stick to the collecting plates to remove dangerous toxins from the air. The collecting plates are then washed and reused over the course of time. 

STAGE 5 – CATALYTIC LAYER 

The catalytic layer is the final step in purification process that removes unpleasant odour – keeping your air fresh and pure.

What is TPA Bipolar Technology? 

Plasma Air technology produces air rich in positive and negative oxygen ions. The negative ions contain an extra electron while the positive ions are missing an electron resulting in an unstable condition. To restabilise, the bipolar ions seek out atoms and molecules in the air to trade electrons with, effectively neutralizing particulate matter, bacteria and virus cells, odorous gases and aerosols, and VOCs.  

How Does Plasma Air Technology Compare to other Air Purification Methods? 

Plasma Air’s bipolar ionization technology is a superior solution because it proactively treats the air in the occupied space at the source of contamination. Traditional end-of-pipe solutions utilize a reactive “pass-through” or “filtered” approach.
